SEED NM Events

SEED NM looks forward to meeting and engaging with small businesses, community organizers and individuals who are interested in working towards a sustainable economy in New Mexico.

Upcoming Events

Open Meetings

We hold open Zoom meetings on the 2nd Tuesday of each month to discuss sustainability, equity and related topics related to small business.

Please join us and share your ideas, energy and input on how to steer our economy towards a sustainable future! Use the registration link below. We welcome input and discussion from the wider community, including those who are new to the world of economic development policy! There is no minimum experience or knowledge level required.

Our meetings are “business casual” and most attendees have their cameras on, but you are free to turn yours off if you prefer. Most meetings are small enough that each attendee introduces themselves, and we encourage you to participate in the discussion. If you want to attend more in listening mode, that’s fine too.

If you would like to discuss ideas or potential meeting topics in advance of any meeting, please drop us an email.

Submit Your Event

SEED NM aims to amplify the events of our friends and allies. If you would like us to share your event, please fill out this form. For Twitter shares, please make sure to submit it at least 5 days before the event. If you would like us to include the event in our monthly email newsletter, please submit it before the 20th of the month. Note that we cannot promise we will share your event due to time constraints or other priorities, but we will do our best.

Virtual Policy Symposium

January 14, 2022, 9am – 3:30pm

Our first event featured speakers and panel discussions on how to coordinate and elevate sustainable, equitable and democratic economic development policies and programs at the local, state and national levels.

Our goals for this event are to connect sustainability-minded businesses, policymakers and organizers; advance the conversation around sustainability and economic development; and gain insights to inform SEED NM’s agenda for 2022.

Videos from the event are viewable at SEED NM’s YouTube page.
