US Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez at the Sustainable Economy Policy Symposium on Jan. 14, 2022 - SEED NM

SEED NM Is on YouTube

We are excited to announce that the SEED NM YouTube channel is up and running. What will you find there? A window into the work we do in building a coalition to grapple with social policy, economic justice, the meaning and practice of sustainability, and much more.

With this YouTube channel, we can now bring you footage from our Sustainable Economy Policy Symposium held in January 2022. It was a full day of discussion about how to achieve a sustainable, equitable economy in New Mexico. Speakers and participants engaged with just what a “sustainable and equitable economy” means, and they worked to advance the conversation about what policies can help in its development. We’ve broken up the day into smaller segments for your viewing ease, and we hope you find them as rewarding as we do.

The first video from SEED NM’s Virtual Policy Symposium, featuring Sandra McCardell of SEED NM and Current-C Energy Systems, Commissioner Adriann Barboa of the Bernalillo County Commission and US Congresswoman Teresa Leger Fernandez.

View the full Symposium playlist here. We’re also adding some of our open meetings to the channel. Click here to view our recent 4th Tuesday Open Meeting featuring Ali-Reza Vahabzadeh, Executive VP, Head of Membership & ESG Policy Co-Lead at the ASBN. He provided an orientation to the resources and opportunities for engagement available through the American Sustainable Business Network.

Whether you’re a hardcore policy wonk or a microbusiness owner just dipping your toes into the waters of sustainable business, we hope you’ll find something to interest and engage in the discussions we post. We always appreciate your channel subscriptions, likes and shares. We’d love to hear from you, too! Consider giving us feedback or ideas by commenting on our videos, attending one of our open meetings or contacting us.
